when i was very young the elders told my mother that my unbaptized teen sister could not go to the public park on days that brothers would socialize at due to her lack of morals.

three years ago my brother moved in with my grandmother.

he is baptised but faded from the organization 10+ years ago.

Three years ago my brother moved in with my grandmother. He is baptised but faded from the organization 10+ years ago. My grandmother recieved a letter from the elder instructing her to boot my brother out her house.
Has anyone experianced something similiar?

i was watching a program on vh1 about michael jackson's childhood.

it showed that michael organized a birthday party for his mother who attended.

it said all the gifts were in brown bags.

I was watching a program on VH1 about Michael Jackson's childhood. It showed that Michael organized a birthday party for his mother who attended. It said all the gifts were in brown bags. Does anyone know if that is a the only form a JW can accept a birthday gift. The program displayed a picture of "Jehovah" which is clearly the WT artistic interpretation of Jesus in his heavenly physical. The program made it seem that th JW created Jehovah. There was a an ex-elder, William Bohen who gave info on the JW doctrine.

It appeared when the papacy was being passed around amoung the last of the Roman nobles and the western branch of Christianity was close to extinction. The best-known forgery in the New Testament. Likewise, a translation error is "Thou shalt not kill." The proper translation from the Old Testament would be "Thou shalt not murder."

How can the WT interpret "torment" from Revelation 20:10-15("And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever") as everlasting death. To my knowledge to be tortured you have to be in a conscious state.

During the Christmas program I was a little hard on some of the Anglicans and Episcopalians, but there are great men of God in the movement just like this brother wrote.
They informed us that in the Anglican and Catholic prayers. They pray world without end, which is Isaiah 45:17 & Ephesians 3:21.
When the Pope announced that he did not believe the world would ever end, what he was saying is he no longer agrees with Saint Augustine who started this end of the world theology, and it?s all wrong.
120 times this book says it won?t end and that the earth abides forever ? Ecclesiastes 1:4
Im not too sure if im understanding this correctly, Van Impe supports world without end? I thought fundamentalist believed after the tribulation God will destroy the earth.

Warned by Enki, the water god, Utnapishtim built a boat and saved his family and friends, along with artisans, animals, and precious metals. How did this get pass Christiandom?
